Could you imagine having to pay hundreds of dollars every month to pay for baby diapers, food, clothing, and other necessities? How about getting through a full day at school when a baby has kept you up most of the night crying? Juggling a part time job and completing high school would soon become a challenge within itself. Even if you were no longer in an active relationship with the mother or father, there would be laws requiring you to help support your child financially.

With all of this taken into consideration, you would think teens would avoid these situations. However, every year approximately 820,000 become teen parents.
